Roscamat makes tapping arms, and we supply both its electric and pneumatic ranges. The electric range covers the Mosquito, Tiger, Dragon and Shark, while the pneumatic range covers the Roscamat 200, 400, 500 and 500RH. We also supply DIN and ISO tap chucks to go with them.
Should I choose an electric or a pneumatic tapping arm?
Thread size is a good place to start. The electric Shark covers M2 to M39, the widest range we list, and the Tiger and Dragon cover M2 to M27. On the pneumatic side, the Roscamat 400, 500 and 500RH cover M2 to M24 and the Roscamat 200 covers M2 to M14. Every pneumatic model uses a pneumatic motor.
Which Roscamat arm gives the largest working area?
The Dragon is built like the Tiger but has longer arms, giving a much larger working area. In the pneumatic range, the Roscamat 500 has a bigger working range than the bench-mounted Roscamat 400 thanks to its longer arms, and the 500RH works in any position while holding perpendicularity to the plane.
