On the Serie 3000 Model 308, the upper and lower shafts differ in size for the first time, at 135 mm and 120 mm. Section modulus capacity is 70 to 120 cm³, the rolls are 390 mm in diameter and the drive is rated at 15 kW. Rolling speed runs from 0 to 7 m/min and the machine weighs 4450 kg. A torque limiter on the top roll shaft and a one-piece fabricated steel frame are part of the specification, as they are across the series.
